We are Jonathan (Jonners) and Ali Coe and We are super excited to be the senior pastors of Eastpoint Vineyard Church, Lowestoft. We are so happy that you are here! We would love you to feel like part of the Eastpoint Vineyard Family.

Wow our story, where to begin… Jonners and I got married in 2011 and we have 8 amazing children (yes, it’s busy and bonkers all at the same time). We lived the first 12 years of our married life in Bury St Edmunds until in 2023 we both felt God calling us to Lowestoft to plant a Vineyard Church.

I have a deep love for Lowestoft, spending about 5 years of my childhood here, before as a family we relocated to South Wales when I was 12. I never dreamed of moving back, until God began to lay Lowestoft on my heart back in the early 2000s. Without a specific yes from God to move, I continued life - qualified as a midwife, met Jonners and we started a family together, deep down having a deep compassion and love for this place from my childhood.

Jonners on the other hand never felt a big boom of ‘church planting’, he’s watched and supported friends plant churches over the years, but was enjoying serving God in our home church, until April 2023… Jonners had been asking God “what do you want from me, there has to be more, I want to be doing something I believe in…” and with that we went to the Vineyard Leaders Gathering and a friend during one of the talks asked me when we were going to church plant... "We're not" I replied, but immediately text Jonners (who was sat in the row in front!) Jonners responded with "When God asks us" so I then texted…. "Have you asked him?” It was at that moment, we both knew God was asking us to move to Lowestoft. God has asked us as a family to move to Lowestoft (which we did in September 2024) with a very simple mandate…
