VISION
Many thanks to Clare Louise for the use of this photo
At Eastpoint Vineyard we believe God has called us to build a church that is welcoming, generous, servant-hearted and discipled; we do all this through the power of the Holy Spirit rooted in the Bible. We are a community who are passionately pursuing God’s heart for Lowestoft through our everyday lives. We as a church are committed to following Jesus’ teachings. We believe in bringing the life of Jesus to our own personal lives and then to the whole of Lowestoft (and beyond). At Eastpoint Vineyard we want everyone to feel welcome - come as you are and see Jesus transform us all to be more like Him. Read more about our values below.
Values
-
Welcoming
We want to build a community of people who are passionately welcoming, loving, and open-hearted.
Jesus himself said “let everyone come to me” – so we want to do just that, provide a space where people meet with the real and living God through the friendliest setting.
-
Radical Generosity
God is so radically generous with us and as people that want to be just like Him we want to be the living, breathing representation of Him and His generosity here on Earth. It’s not just with financial generosity – we want to be generous with every bit of our lives: our time, attention, and our resources. As just one example we see this in Matthew 14:13-21 when Jesus fed the 5000+, they ate until they were satisfied and there were leftovers (there will be lots of events involving food!)
-
Extravagantly Servant-Hearted
As well as being radically generous, we want to be extravagantly kind, compassionate and servant-hearted.
In the Bible there’s a passage that says “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” Colossians 3:12
Jesus’ life as recounted in the gospels is totally embodied by being a humble servant. Philippians 2:6-8, Jesus is our example as we seek to humbly serve wherever we find ourselves.

Courageous Discipleship
We want to do life together, in community, learning and growing in our love for Jesus – as we do real life, read the bible and worship together, God in turn disciples us as a community and as individuals – courageous discipleship ultimately draws us closer to Him!
